A Freebie 4 you!!

Hiya All, it's me again!! I'm supposed to be doing making the Christmas photos for my cousins daycare, she dropped the photos off this morning and I have to have them all prettied up and looking Christmas-like by this afternoon. Of course, being who I am, I just had to find something else to do before I got started. I'll pop back in tommorrow and show everyone some of the 19 photos I have to work on.
Like everyone at Christmas time, it's been a very busy time and out of the blue the girls Dad rang up and decided he wanted to take Cheyenne over to Australia to spend some time with him (at the moment he won't take Maia because he doesn't like changing diapers) so there was a big rush to get her organised to send over. It was her first trip by herself to Australia and I was so nervous about giving her over to the airline staff. The moment the plane took off I rang her father and told him to get to the airport now and wait to make sure he got there on time. Now, it's 12 days till she gets back, she's only been gone for 3 days and I miss her so much, it feels like its already been long enough and she should just get home now. I suppose at least this year I don't have to worry about hiding her Christmas presents, they're all just sitting in the lounge waiting to be wrapped.
I love the Christmas season, it's so much fun. Yesterday my little 2 year old decorated our Christmas tree. The tree looks very busy and very unbalanced but she did it and it was her first time so that is how our tree will look this year. I think it looks absolutely adorable and I proudly show off her work to everyone who visits. I took photos of her decorating and of the finished product so when I get the photos onto my drive I will show her handy work off to everbody on the internet as well.

New Kit and a Freebie!!

WOW!! What a day I've had, it was time to get the girls their summer wardrobe and this time I promised they could pick their own clothes. Well, that was a mistake I won't soon make again. Chasing two girls running rampant all over the store was very tiring but they got the clothes they wanted and all was happy in the world. Now they are finally fast asleep snuggled up in their new pj's and looking ever so sweet and cute.

Now onto the new kit I have at Kjoi Studios, of course this one is a very girly kit. My little ones decided to help me by telling me what should be in it, so being the ever obliging mummy I listened added a bit more and that is how "Precious" was created. Freedom to Express Yourself!

Hiya All, I have another layout for you this time using the awesome kit Brown Town Inspirations, it's available at all three of Designs by Sassy's Stores @ Designs by Sassy, Digital Candy, and Purple Paper Flowers. My niece, Layla, is the focus of this layout. I took this photo Christmas of 2004 and it shows her big personality and how she is not afraid to be herself. I Love Trucks!!!

Well, I'm about to show you all a layout I did using The DigiTwins "Declaration Of Independence" from their brand new "Independence Day Grab Bag", it is available at their store at Digital Candy.

This was one of the hardest pages for me to figure out. Being from New Zealand it was really hard for me to show anything that might class as 4th of July worthy. Well, as luck would have it our truck drivers decided to have a protest on the 4th, and a line of about 50 of them went past my house driving at around 20 kilometers an hour. Which entertained my girls no end, they were convinced that this was a parade so I thought there is my 4th of July layout, we had a parade. Here it is...

Oh No!!! It's Crazy Frog!!!

I did this layout for the Digital Candy Element Challenge, when I read that you had to use humour I could only think of these photos. Nothing is funnier than the antics of drunk people, the thing we do when we drink. Steel City Scraps kit "On The Go" was just too perfect for it. You can check it out along with many other brilliant kits at her store @ Divine Digital.

Maia and her butterflies.

I just finished a layout and I thought I would share it with everyone. My youngest daughter has a major thing for butterflies. She loves them pictures of them, stuffed animals, even butterfly clips with butterflies on them. She will put the clips all through her hair, making sure there are clips withflowers on them too so that the butterflies have flowers to land on. Then she runs around the house yelling "My Faflies" over and over again. It's so cute. This layout captures her as she is placing her last clip in her hair, the noise is about to begin...lol.

For this layout I used a lot of items by TrishH Designs, she makes so many awesome products. For this one the main kit is Kim's Bright Summer, a gorgeous kit. I also used her Acrylic Glitter Alpha, Basic Borders and Glitz Alpha from her Grab Bag.

Two days in a row, I am getting good. I love the costumes that got worn to my cousin, Sharlene's 30th, so I just had to show you another one. This one is a sexy Hermione Granger. Hiya All...

I'm back on board and have a few layouts to show you all and a little freebie. One of the layouts is from my cousins 30th birthday. She hired a party bus and had a school themed fancy dress party. It was an awesome night and the bars that we all visited didn't know what hit them. Although I do think that most of the people thought we were slightly insane, dressed up as school kids in one way or another. Well, the birthday girl decided to go as a Playboy Naughty School girl, and here is what she looked like...



For this layout I used Heather Manning's "Dirt Don't Hurt - It's A Pink Thang". It's available at the GetDigiWithIt Store (the link is in the proudly creating for section). You'll see a lot of the photos from this party popping up on here. There were some really classic photos taken and I can't wait to get them all scrapped.

This next layout is a little different, my next door neighbours threw a party a few weeks ago and when I woke up the next morning they had left a strange little sentry on their roof. It looked so cute and funny that I just had to take a photo of it. So here it is...

Here is one of my oldest daughter just chillin' out and watching some tv. I just loved how peaceful she looked. It's very different for her, she doesn't like sitting still or being quiet. This moment was well worth preserving...

This next one is of my youngest daughter doing her favorite thing, talking on the phone. Give her a play phone and she won't stop ringing and talking to people. Hand her the real phone and she refuses to say a word and won't even hold it, go figure.

I found it so awesome the other day when my little one picked up her first book and started to read it (well look at the pictures and make up her own story). It was just too cute I had to take a photo and here is the layout I did with the photos...

Now for the last of my layouts, it's of my beautiful little fairy. In this photo my fairy was just getting over her tantrum because she didn't want her photo taken. I thought it looked so cute.

I'm Baaacccckkk!!!

Well, my girls have gone away for the weekend and I have a little bit of time to do this. Today I have a few layouts to show off, a freebie and a blog challenge. So this should be fun. Now I have done a bit of time management, I'll definitely be blogging a lot more often. They'll be a lot more freebies and a few challenges just to keep things interesting. OK now off we go with a few of the layouts I have done for my CT's lately.
